Chronex — TVDE Time Tracking

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of Chronex, a mobile application developed and published by Toralle Lda (NIF: 518102564, hereinafter "Toralle").
By installing or using Chronex, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the application.
1. Description of Service
The app uses reference values based on Portuguese regulations, including Portaria 7/2022 and Lei 45/2018.
Chronex is not an official government tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any Portuguese government entity, including IMT, ACT, Uber, Bolt, or any regulatory authority. All regulatory references are for informational purposes only.
2. Disclaimer
- Chronex does not constitute legal advice and does not substitute professional legal or accounting counsel
- Compliance with labor laws remains the sole responsibility of the driver and/or operator
- Toralle is not responsible for any fines, penalties, or consequences resulting from the use or misuse of Chronex
- Reference limits (10h daily, 60h weekly, 11h rest) are based on applicable Portuguese legislation and may change — users should verify current regulations independently
3. Data Integrity
Chronex implements SHA-256 hash chains to support data integrity of shift records. However:
- Hash chains are a data integrity mechanism, not a legal certification
- Toralle does not guarantee that hashed records will be accepted as legal evidence by any authority
- The accuracy of records depends on correct and timely input by the user
4. User Responsibilities
As a user of Chronex, you are responsible for:
- Entering accurate shift start/end times and activity types
- Verifying that recorded data reflects your actual working hours
- Maintaining your device and app in working condition
- Keeping your Personal Confirmation PIN secure
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations independently of Chronex
5. Price and Payment
Chronex is 100% free. All features are available without subscription, in-app purchases, or hidden costs. Toralle reserves the right to introduce paid features in future versions, which will not affect existing free features.
6. Intellectual Property
Chronex, including its design, code, and content, is the intellectual property of Toralle Lda. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the application.
7. Third-Party Services
Chronex uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — for anonymous crash reporting
- Nager.Date API — for Portuguese public holiday data
Use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toralle shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use Chronex, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data due to device failure, app uninstallation, or software updates
- Inaccurate time tracking due to user error or device issues
- Fines or penalties from regulatory authorities
- Any interruption of service
9. Road Safety
Road safety is your sole responsibility.
10. Termination
You may stop using Chronex at any time by uninstalling the application. Toralle reserves the right to discontinue the application with reasonable notice.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Guimarães, Portugal.
12. Changes to These Terms
Toralle may update these Terms. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Chronex after changes constitutes acceptance.
